Another quick post, this time for a little shohin Juniper. We shaped this Shore Juniper into a cascade many moons ago and left it to it’s own devices at the back of the garden, and it’s time to give it some more attention… Before and after photos below, along with a virtual pic showing lowest branch removed, which we’ll do in the near future. This will lighten the visual weight of the foliage to match the slender trunk line.

The above virtual shows lowest branch removed, improving the balance of the foliage to trunk. These junipers tend to fill in quickly, so we’ll have a nice full canopy in no time.
