Another quick post, this time for a little shohin Juniper. We shaped this Shore Juniper into a cascade many moons ago and left it to it’s own devices at the back of the garden, and it’s time to give it some more attention… Before and after photos below, along with a virtual pic showing lowest branch removed, which we’ll do in the near future. This will lighten the visual weight of the foliage to match the slender trunk line.

After styling. We’ll continue the shari (deadwood on the trunk) further as time goes by…
